Stainless steel spoon rest By A Customer I like the spoon rest because it is large and can hold more than one utensil. It is brushed stainless which matches the knobs on our new cabinets and looks great next to our stainless steel cooktop. It is very easy to clean. It is very attractive and not cutsey like so many spoon rests that we looked at are! It fits right on with things that I like to keep on the counter neat and compact.
Sturdy attractive and stable. This spoon rest is made of very heavy stainless steel you couldn't break it or even dent it if you tried! The bowl portion is large enough to hold a couple of big cooking spoons spatulas or forks and it's very stable so it won't tip over. Cleans easily and dishwasher safe. Does what it's supposed to do and looks very nice too. We have two of them one on each side of the stove.
Perfect design and function This is an excellent item! First I like that it is stainless steel so that if anything gets stuck on it you can just *brillo* is off. The stainless finish makes it very arractive and so much better looking than most kitchylooking spoon holders. Altho this is more of a utensil holderits big. Its a great fit for wooden spoons the heatresistant spatulas large spoons..etc. It will even accomodate ladles altho they pretty much rest on it as opposed to rest in it.This unit is sturdy and weighty. It doesnt move around or tip when you put on a utensil. I have put it in the dishwasher with no problem. This would be an excellent item for someone setting up a kitchen a kitchen themed gift basket or a kitchen themed housewarming gift.
Holds spoons The spoon rest is large and works well. It cleans up with no problem and looks pretty good. No complaints.
It's BIIIIG! Seriously this spoonrest is bigger than you think it is going to be. Which in my mind is a good thing because when you put your drippy sloppy utensils on it it needs to collect all the glop.

My only problem with it..and the reason I knocked off a star is..Amazon sent me a damaged one and it's not worth sending back. They really need to practice quality control..I've seen this complaint on many items and seriously wonder if they buy loads of "seconds" to make money? It's a nice spoon rest however and worth the money.
I love it! This is THE best spoon rest! It will accommodate any cooking utensil large or small. I use it every day. It goes into the dishwasher and comes out looking shinny and new. It sits on my counter next to the stove looks great and is always ready for use. I'm going to order three more for Christmas presents. A truly great product.
