Worked well for us! These spoons are great! They are very light and thin but I didn't expect them to be high quality I just wanted them to work. They work very well. I have eaten half a grapefruit several times a week since purchasing them. It is nice to have an easy way to eat them in halves instead of in slices when the juice has a tendency to get all over your face. When my daughter came home and used them she ordered a package for herself to have at her dorm room! The closest I have to a complaint is that the juice sprays a little when you first put the spoon in but I couldn't really expect any different.

Great product for the price I've had this product for weeks and find it great quality for the price. It is sturdy and works great for my nearly daily grapefruit.

stainless steel grapefruit spoons I was dissapointed in these spoons. The serrated edge covers over half of the sides of the spoon making it too sharp and difficult not to hurt your mouth as you eat. The one spoon that I had previously had the serrated edge covered only about 25% of the spoon's side and did not hurt as you ate the fruit. You have to be careful as you eat with these spoons.
Great grapefruit Spoons Nice and hefty. The serrated edges are sharp. Gave them to Mom for Christmas. I can't wait to use them. I'll be getting a set for myself.
Decent set at a very good price While I definitely would not categorize these spoons as 'thick stainless steel' I still find them to be very good quality for the low price.The serrated edge goes around most of the spoon and is sharp enough that I have no problem scooping out my grapefruit.
Big time saver!
quality control anyone ? The quality of the spoons is horrible. They really feel like those you get at 4/1$ at the dollar store. The edges are randomly serrated and they feel like they are going to bend when trying to tear some grapefruit fibers. They are NOT thick at all.returned mine.

Great product for the cost! This is a great lowcost flatware option for everyday use. The pieces are a perfect length width and weight and feel comfortable in your hand while dining. It has a much more expensive feel than it actually cost. My family commented on it at thanksgiving in fact. Thinking I must have spent a significant amount of money on flatware enough to accommodate our large group.I selected 4 stars in rating instead of 5 only because the pattern looks just slightly different in person than in the picture. The small rise at the center of each utensil is not quite as raised as it appears in the picture. The pieces look very nice just the pattern is not as distinct as it is pictured.In my opinion the inclusion of the matching serving utensils set this product apart from any of the others I looked at. The cost for the set was so low it was almost like the service pieces were free. This flatware set is an extraordinary bargain! And the service pieces look and feel like real silver without all the hassle of polishing! It's a treat to use nice looking serving pieces everyday instead of just for the special occassions one would polish silverware for.
chromium/nickle content This is set is a 18/0 chromium/nickle ratio content. This means that there is no nickle and won't maintain it's shininess over the years. It also is less rust resistant. It seems like a good price and probably is for somebody that isn't looking for a set that will last them for years to come. I wouldn't settle for 18/0 and look for a deal on a set with 18/10 chromium nickle content.
Looks great I'm particular about certain things and flatware is one of them. It's a simple style which I like but not a heavy as I thought but still fine. Good price too.
Not as weighted as I expected I have loved shopping on Amazon for several years now because of convenience. But recently so many unsatisfactory items that I just don't have the time to do anything about are leaving me cold.Obviously one cannot accurately choose heft by a picture but looking at the picture of this product specifically the thickness of the butter knife handle I expected this flatware to have some heft to it. Not so.I ordered these for my restaurant. I wanted/needed inexpensive but didn't want cheap. I got cheap. Not the cheapest of the cheap but definitely not with the weight I expected from the pictures. So take this review or leave it perhaps I assumed too much. Pretty but I don't expect them to last all that long.
Solid set of flatware I received these last night and have so far used every utensil. Very happy with the quality. No frilly designs just simple sturdy flatware.It also came with steak knives which I did not expect I didn't read the product description.

perfect set except for the knives the reason for me giving this set a three star rating is because of the steak knives that come along with it they are made very poorly and when you try to cut anything like a pineapple the metal comes out of the black handle and you will have to throw them away so if you get this set just understand that they are only to be used for cutting small things. the rest of the set has served us well. i would purchase again because i think it's a good price for the amount of flatware you get even if you don't include the steak knives.
Heavy and Larger. I order 2 sets to replace my 16 yr old set that was missing alot of pieces. My intial impression was the pieces are heavier and larger than what I was replacingwhich was purchased off the shelf. I really like this flatware. It is simple elegant and includes a steak knife for each place setting. I would purchase this for newlyweds or someone getting their first place. It would go with almost any style. I did have a problem when I received the sets. One set was not packed properly too many knives no forks so I logged on to Amazon requesting a return for that set. I printed out my label repacked the shipping box and waited for UPS the next day.
CLUMSYWARE I DO NOT LIKE THIS SIMPLICITY FLATWARE I WISH I WOULD HAVE DONE A LONGER SEARCH. THE FORKS & TEASPOONS ARE TOO LARGE & THEY SPOT TERRIBLY IN THE DW. I HAVE NEVER HAD FLATWARE SPOT LIKE THIS BEFORE. I REALLY WISH I WOULD HAVE RETURNED THEM FOR AN EXCHANGE.

Great idea! I was looking for a stainless steel spoon rest and came across this lid and spoon rest. Great that someone thought of adding a lid rest very convenient.This item has a nice sleek design and is made from high quality steel. It came in a small envelope disassembled however the lid rest is easily attached to the base with two screws included.The only negative I can comment on this item it has to be disassembled if you would like to put it in a dishwasher. This involves removing the two screws. If this does not bother you highly recommend this item for both good looks and convenience.
so simple yet so amazing!! it's fantastic! it's very sturdy and i love the fact it's got little rubber feet to keep in place and you can wash it in the dishwasher!! the lid rest holds all lids big and small in place and catches any water at the bottom. i highly recommend this product! it saves counter space and keeps it clean worth every penny!! = i also bought this as a gift for a friend who loves to cook.
Ingenious! The Progressive Lid and Spoon Holder is great. It holds lids from a small lightweight 1 quart to a very heavy Le Creuset. It makes a great gift.
Lid Rest Not very attractive but works great. Have used it for light and small to very heavy large glass lids and it feels very stable. Nice to have somewhere to put those hot lids dripping with condensation.
Great idea In theory this is a great idea. In reality it's also a great idea! It doesn't get 5 starts because there are a few lids that just don't fit too big and too small and the stainless steel has stained a bit I've had it now for quite a few months.

Nice item but be careful highly conductive! I got a few of these tools when I got my All Clad pots and pans and they are very elegant and sturdy. They certainly go with the set and seem very durable. I am even thinking of buying a few more. However and this has nothing to do with the way they are made or All Clad's quality that is why I still gave the item four stars but I did burn my hand terribly on my stainless ladle shortly after receiving it. Needless to say I now exercise great caution when using these tools. I had many pots on the stove and this ladle was resting on a plate adjacent to the range.
Disappointing I expected All Clad to design a decent ladle. This ladle is heavy and unwieldy. There is a groove at the top of the handle that hurts my hand when I hold it. I can't figure out a position to hold it in that makes it usable. I can't think of what to do with itthere is no one to give it to and I cannot use it.
quality Yes All Clad can be a little pricey but you pay for quality. The weight of the product is very solid. I love it.
ladle with a nice lip This thing just feels nice in your hands. Could also be used as a handy whacker. The lip makes it pour clean and so it does not make a mess. The long handle makes it useful for many things mostly related to taking about a cup of liquid or liquidy stuff from one container even the deeper ones and transporting it to another container with a twist of the wrist the great pour. A thing of beauty and perfection. I can't believe I'd been using a measuring cup for 18 years.

Great ladle! This is one great sturdy ladle! Like any AllClad stainless product it's constructed of solid and heavy stainless so it handles heavy soup or stew items without any bending or flexing in the stem. Also because the bowl of the ladle is the larger of the two sizes available it makes scooping portions quick and easy.
Best Ladle ever? I've only bought a few ladles in my life but this one weighs about the same as a small pot. Amazing build quality and feels great to use.Weight may be an issue for some but I love it. Hopefully this ladle will last me for the rest of my life.

Birthday Gift Solved I was looking over the Internet to help my sister get the missing ladle that she and I were supposta give our mother for Mother's Day. Due to my error in the initial order I ordered 1 ladle and 1 ladle showed up.I had no idea I'd be buying 2 ladles that would be 2 different sizes but that's okay that's okay. This is gonna make it better. For the longest of time our mother used measuring cups during the winter to serve the soup for the meals now she'll have 2 sizes of ladles to choose from for whatever size bowl she chooses.
